Whilst tremendously sad that Heythrop College’s long life as an educational establishment came to an end in 2019, the spirit of its mission lives on. At one of the principal events marking its closure, those attending were treated to a rousing commission to carry on the good work.
The nurturing flame of Heythrop has gone … The flickering embers of the fire are all that are left … It is our responsibility… To take these embers … To light new fires to continue the memory and actions of Heythrop … To show future generations that truth, meaning, compassion, love and being human matter …
